Uptrend

You as a stock trader will want to identify stock in uptrend to find possible candidate for long trade.

I look for these indications on stock chart during stock trend analysis to identify uptrend:

• Price is rising
• Corrections (pullbacks) are not so strong as rising moves
• There are higher highs (HH) and higher lows (HL) on chart
• Volume during rising periods are higher then during corrections

As you can see moving averages can help you visually in identification of uptrend during you stock trend analysis.
