Technical analysis believes that everything important about stock is immediately included in price and therefore you as a trader need only to watch and analyze price movements. That is great because you need not to learn how to read annual reports, what does it means earnings, P/E and so !

Chart analysis ? OK. Technical analysis is in general analysis of stock charts, because price movements are painted in charts. There are several different types of charts but I recommend to choose the best one : candlestick charts.

They are based on simple elements = candlesticks. Each candlestick represents one time period. It shows us how price moved during this period. You can learn a lot from every single candlestick.
