Stock trading books

Reading of stock trading books is necessary for every trader. Beginner traders and also experienced traders need to read fresh opinions and new ideas.

And also to repeat reading of good stock trading books. There is something new or remarkable every time the trader read same book again.

But do not read a lot of them in short time. One title every 4 or 6 month could be enough.

I like to re-read good trading book from time to time. It refreshes my memories to what I read. And during every reading I find something new what catch my attention.

Here I would like to present list of trading books I have read with my thoughts about them.

A Beginner's Guide to Short-Term Trading
Author: Toni Turner

Toni Turner: a Beginner's guide to short term trading
This is really very good book for every beginner trader. Also more experienced traders will find there many useful ideas.
Although it can be a lot of information to read I recommend it very much.

Toni covers every aspect of trading from describing basic of stock markets to detailed description of nice and simple stock trading strategy for swing stock trading. I especially like her breakout and pullbacks trading setups which are also basics for my simple stock trading strategy.

Elder: Trading for a Living: Psychology, Trading Tactics, Money Management
This book covers many aspects of trading for living.
I think that it places too much emphasis on psychology, but author is practicing psychiatrist.

I recommend this book and especially final part of the book describing Triple Screen Trading System and Money Management.

This book is "must read" book to learn basic of candlestick charting
Every trader using charts and technical analysis must read this book. I bought it several years ago and it is book which I like to re-read every year again and again. It helps me to brand candlesticks basics and candlesticks interpretation on my brain.

There is a lot of theory in this book, but when you will study your own chart and use knowledge from this book, you will recognize why it is so important to read this book and you will tell loud "A-haaa" !
