But there are some advantages to use their services. They provide data from different stock exchanges around the world. Really good realtime data providers provides not only US stock exchanges but also US futures exchanges, Forex and also international stock exchanges. It is very important as we can now trade on different exchanges around the world.

Another important option is possibility to use their data in independent stock analysis software. Although these realtime stock quotes providers often provide also their own stock analysis software their list of features is not so good as Amibroker's.

It is also good to use independent stock analysis software for possible change in the future. What if service of such data provider will go down in quality? Then we have to consider change and if we use independent stock analysis software we need change only data source. We need not to learn new charting software.
