There are many online trading sites with free stock chart creation availability. But which of them are usable ? And are they usable at all ? it is not easy to answer these questions as there are many stock market websites with different features that are available there.When I started with learning how to do stock chart analysis I did not want to spend a lot of money with
stock trading software
or other tools. I did not find any free stock market software that I could use for technical analysis training. So I thought that it will be fine to start learning with free tools available on Internet. As I did not do any real trades it offered me possibility to learn technical analysis without spending a lot of money from the beginning. I learned stock chart analysis using
historical stock charts
from sites available back then. My first learning started with Bigcharts.com . Its basic historical stock charts were my first testing place of my
stock chart analysis
. I set charts on the web site. I printed daily and weekly graphs and started to draw trend lines and try to recognize
supports and resistances

Later I noticed that bigcharts site is used for historical stock chart available in
free stock chart software Quotetracker.
As I started to use Quotetracker to monitor my portfolios of virtual trades, I was happy that I can also make my analysis in this software. It allowed me to draw my trendlines directly in software.
My note for you:I recommend to think about paid services when you will start stock trading and active investing seriously. If you really want to make money by stock trading you need to have good stock trading tools. But it does not mean that they should be expensive. I discovered
Amibroker, stock analysis software,
several years ago. It is paid software but the price is not high. And it is very customizable type of stock analysis software. I recommend it to everybody who plan to make money on stock markets

Recently I discovered another site on the Internet.
It is FinViz.
I like its free stock screener feature but I have noticed that this site also publish its own free stock graphs. I noticed that they have one interesting feature. It tries to draw trendlines and detect
support and resistance
levels automatically. It is quite nice and it offers another opinion to stock chart analysis produced by myself. I look sometimes at them to check another (computerized) opinion.
FinViz has also very nice feature which tries to automatically recognize some
stock chart patterns.
You can base some
