How to organize your schedule for your every day online stock trading
Create a good every day online stock trading schedule to make daily market stock trading easier
Do you have your schedule for daily online stock trading? It’s a good idea to have a plan for you follow every day as a trader.I prepared such a plan last year for myself. I needed to have consistency every day. I felt disorganized in my everyday routine, so I thought I should prepare a plan to get organized. U.S. market stock trading has to be done very professionally if you want to do it for a living. And it helps ! My trading improved a lot since I started to use a written every day online stock trading schedule. Since then I’ve said many times, “Hey, this was the best day for my stock trading.” So here’s my every day online stock trading schedule for a typical day. It’s in the U.S. stock exchanges’ time (Eastern Time). But keep in mind that I live and trade in Europe, which is six hours different (CET- Central European Time).
| 07:00 ET - 09:00 ET | monitoring the European stock market situation, Forex and commodities markets. Reading interesting articles, newsletters and analysis | | 09:00 ET - 11:00 ET | concentrate on stock markets, management of trades | | 11:00ET - 14:00 ET (2 p.m.) | monitoring the stock exchange on background. I react only to pre-set alerts in my stock trading software. I read emails, take care of some issues on the Web and also enjoy some time with my family. (It’s already evening here in Europe.)) | | 14:00 ET - 16:00 ET (4 p.m.) | complete concentration on stock markets, management of my open stock trades | | 16:00 ET - 18:00 ET (6 p.m.) | stock market analysis, preparation of swing trade setups for stocks and ETF for next trading day | | 18:00 ET | It’s midnight here (24:00 CET), so I am going to sleep..... | I printed this every day online stock trading schedule and have it above my monitors on the bulletin board, so I can easily see it every day
My special stock market trading tip
You can see that I don’t do any analysis during the time when stock exchanges are open. Yes, that’s right. I prepare for my daily stock trading setups in advance. I have them in Excel and don’t think about them during trading hours. I only wait for alerts to signal me that some trigger price is near, and then I take the necessary action. My setup analysis and preparation process is done after market trading hours (and sometimes before the market opens). I look at it as if I’m divided into two people. One is an analyst. I do this job when the market is closed, and everything is quiet. It allows me to think about stock charts, make my stock chart analysis and prepare my daily stock trading setups in a quiet environment. The second person is the trader. I receive the daily stock picks from the analyst. My role now is not to think about setups anymore, but only to execute the trades described in today’s stock picks list. It sounds a little bit strange, but it helps me a lot. I do not like to analyze under stress. And the open market, moving stocks, news, etc. are not good for my
stock analysis.
